ZimmVet is hiring a Front Desk Client Services Representatives (CSR). We are an AAHA-accredited, positive, progressive veterinary clinic located in Zimmerman, MN. Part time hours available. We offer flexible scheduling, with NO WEEKENDS!! Shifts consist of 5 or 10 hours. Previous client services experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets by name
• Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system
• Schedule appointments and surgeries
• Provide phone shoppers with descriptions of services first, price last
• Take and deliver messages promptly to appropriate staff
• Note in medical records the details discussed during client conversations including the date, time, key points of the discussion and any action required
• Ensure the lobby and exam rooms are clean and odor free
• Fill and dispense prescriptions for patients
• Confirm medical records are accurate and complete, request transcripts from other hospitals, and transfer transcripts to other hospitals as needed
• Receive payment for services, providing exact change when taking cash payments are received
• Print and record end-of-day balances, ensuring they are accurate
• Update reminders for clients as needed
• Admit/Discharge patients for in-hospital stays for procedures such as surgery, dental, or others as recommended by hospital staff
• Provide client education on topics such as nutrition, preventatives, and other common questions
